To establish an Artist Residency Program that allows 5 artists (one per studio) to reside at Peters Valley for a period of 2 weeks in the fall or spring season and dedicate their time to their craft in a fully equipped studio within the retreat-like setting of the campus located in a National Park.

To support one student to participate in the 2022 summer Scripps Undergraduate Research Fellowship, focused on marine biological sciences with a field research component.

to support design and administration of the inaugural year of the Maxwell/Hanrahan individual awards program for emerging and/or under-recognized artisans across the country

To support two students to attend the CAMINO (The Center to Advance Mentored, Inquiry-based Opportunities) summer internship program

To support the expenses (including but not limited to stipends) associated with undergraduate internships at the Hawaiʻi Institute of Marine Biology at the University of Hawaiʻi for one or more students from underrepresented backgrounds

To support student(s) to attend the REU Blinks Program for Undergraduates and Post-Baccalaureates at Friday Harbor Laboratories

Undergraduate, graduate or post-doc student biology research in the field through the Richard Gilder Graduate School

Supporting a graduate student in a field-based internship in the Monarch Community Science Program in 2021
